“When a life is at stake, and it’s your child, you become fearless.”
It’s not the usual celebrity interview. Nancy Graham of AARP The Magazine sat down with actor Martin Sheen for a profile in the July-August issue, and talked at length about life, politics, religion, and family. He talks with surprising candor about his son Charlie, and problems with drugs and fame that threatened to take Charlie’s life.

Luckily, Graham and Sheen agreed that their interview would be recorded; she visits our host Mike Cuthbert, and shares the highlights of this encounter, for an emotional and enlightening edition of Prime Time Radio.
